I see this thread is still going, so I figured I'd give an official statement from Privex - the server (saba/mackerel) company which hosted this BBS (as a privacy company, we honestly do not know if this is still hosted with us - that's up to "Manager" to say).
So you're aware, we've known about this thread and BBS for quite a few months now, ever since we were contacted by the Chiba police - and while we're personally not fans of what you guys do, we care about free speech, and we'll defend any customer's free speech so long as they don't piss off the local law enforcement where their server is located - which means if you have a Swedish server from us, the only law enforcement we have to listen to - is the Swedish police.
We have limits of course, if we're informed that a customer is hosting something that is highly illegal, without a doubt - such as child porn, or terrorism - we have very little protection and have no choice but to take the servers down, otherwise they'd simply raid our datacenters.

Those of you who are wondering how we found the IP address - it was given to us from the Japanese police, most likely they got it from Cloudflare.
We're a privacy and freedom of speech company, so if anyone here wants to host something related to Takahiro Karasawa - we will defend your right to free speech, and if we're contacted by law enforcement, as a Belizean company, we don't have to listen to gag orders - we will inform customers immediately if we're contacted by police, FBI, etc.
